Antonio Parodi

Antonio ha conseguito un dottorato in Ingegneria Idraulica e Modellazione dei Sistemi Ambientali nel 2003 presso l’Università di Padova. Dal 1999 è ricercatore presso Fondazione CIMA e dal 2016 è Direttore di Programma. Ha esperienza di ricerca e operativa in idrometeorologia e meccanica dei fluidi, con particolare attenzione all’analisi statistica degli estremi e alla dinamica computazionale dei fluidi. La sua ricerca si concentra sullo sviluppo di modelli semplificati di convezione secca e umida e sullo studio delle principali fonti di incertezza nella modellazione numerica ad alta risoluzione dei processi di pioggia severa su aree orografiche complesse. Antonio è inoltre interessato all’accoppiamento degli approcci dinamici e stocastici di downscaling per la previsione delle precipitazioni a risoluzione fine e allo studio della climatologia degli eventi di pioggia severa nella regione mediterranea.
