Hydrology Satellite Application Facility (H-SAF) is a project on which CIMA Research Foundation is collaborating with EuMetSat, an intergovernmental organization of 30 European countries for the management of meteorological satellites. The purpose of the project is to create satellite products for hydrological applications and test their operation.

CIMA Research Foundation aims to qualitatively validate the satellite products designed for hydrology at European level, with particular attention at the accuracy of the algorithms created by satellite detection of soil moisture, rainfall and snow- covered status.
