The department actively supports the teams of technicians and researchers in preparing project proposals for national and international calls. It also provides logistical, administrative and financial support for the implementation of projects which are founded by national or international donors such as United Nation agencies, the World Bank, the European Commission etc. For each project, the department develops and produces financial reporting documents, implements and manages all financial reporting processes, including the responsibility for auditing and accounting. Moreover, the department develops administrative procedures and guidelines to ensure transparency and efficiency in project management. It also supports project managers in monitoring and evaluating project implementation, preparing financial reports and assisting with public relations with the donors and stakeholders of a related project.
The department has consolidated experience in organizing technical and representative meetings, and organizes courses for the high level training of civil protection managers and operators. The department is also responsible for the design of the quality management system, and for maintaining it for ISO 9000 certification for CIMA Research Foundation.
