CIMA Research Foundation is funding two 3 years PhD scholarships.
Successful Candidates shall be required to select their PhD Thesis among the following research themes:
- Quantitative Precipitation Estimation from MultiSensor Observations
- Flood Scenarios description and interaction with pollution sources by means of satellite data
- Classification of wind scenarios and development of wind stochastic downscaling techniques on complex orography areas
- Predictability and predictive ability of severe rainfall events over complex orography areas
- Atmosphere-surface interactions: high-resolution atmospheric simulation coupled with a Surface Data Assimilation Scheme
