UNISDR Gulf Cooperation Council Workshop   

CIMA Research Foundation has taught at the UNISDR Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Workshop on Disaster Risk Reduction & Hyogo Framework for Action, held in Riyadh on January 13-16, 2013. The Workshop on Disaster Risk Reduction was organized by the UNISDR for the United Arab Emirates and hosted by the Gulf Cooperation Council. CIMA Research Foundation experts were responsible for the delivery of two modules: i) a first module on Risk Assessment methods with special focus on Flash Floods; ii) a second module on Disaster Loss Data Collection. This results from the ongoing collaboration and support given by CIMA Research Foundation to the UNISDR activities in the last years.
