Advanced Training on Civil Protection 

The Advanced Training program on Civil Protection at CIMA Research Foundation aims at preparing a new generation of Civil Protection managers engaged in the procedures and technologies for prediction, prevention and mitigation of natural and industrial hazards.
CIMA Research Foundation staff has substantial research and operational experience in the area of civil protection, providing program participants a combination of theoretical background and practical experience.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn advanced techniques for operational forecasting of extreme meteorological, hydrological and forest fires events and to learn the techniques of quantification of the inherent uncertainty associated with those forecasts. The training program is organized through lectures, technical visits and on-the-job training alongside researchers and technicians of CIMA Research Foundation.
The training program can be adapted to meet your objectives, the needs of your staff and their level of expertise. Currently there are two training programs:

i) Training Program for Civil Protection Managers
ii) Integrated Systems for Hydro-meteorological and Forest-Fire Risk Prediction and Monitoring.
