CIMA Research Foundation provides “SOLETERRE – Strategie di Pace ONLUS” (implementing organization) with technical and scientific support in hydro-geological risk reduction and management. Technical assistance is carried out through local missions and remote assistance and focuses on the following topics: evaluation of a micro-works plan aimed at reducing risk in informal settlements; construction of a new shelter to host evacuated people ensuring safety, protection and dignity, in compliance with SFERA rules design and implementation of a Early Warning System through a sustainable and participatory approach at community level set-up of a local Emergency Plan.
