BEDRIN Project basic training

BE DRIN partners will be engaged in two training courses over the next two months. A basic course will be held in Albania from February 15 to 20, an advanced course will be held in Kosovo in March.
Basic training objectives: to provide technical knowledge and know-how for emergency management at tactical and operational levels; to provide capacity on how to interact with international organizations and be part of international consortiums, particularly in case of deployment of capacity building or Disaster Risk Reduction teams.
Advanced training objectives: to provide knowledge and know-how for emergency management at strategic level and to provide capability to train other trainers.
The beneficiaries of the training course will be professionals of the civil protection authorities, staff and volunteers of voluntary organizations in Albania and Kosovo, as well as other external partners like Albania and Kosovo Red Cross Organisations and local municipalities.
The trainers for the course to be held in Shkoder, Albania, will be representatives of the Italian national civil protection department, Italian and Romanian Red Cross and Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, but fundamental lessons about national regulations on civil protection management or international cooperation in case of disaster are directly presented by our local institutional partners.
Various topics will be covered during the training, such as civil protection and crisis management activities, disaster risk reduction and resilience, EU civil protection mechanism and psychological support in an emergency.
Please find attached the detailed program of the basic training course.
